A fire-resistant compound based on water glass for filling cracks and gaps in chimneys, stoves and grates. Once cured, it neither shrinks nor cracks. Designed for repairing fire-exposed elements that are not subject to mechanical stress.

How to use

  1. Condition the product at room temperature before application.
  2. Cut off the cartridge tip, leaving enough thread to screw on the nozzle.
  3. Cut the nozzle at a sharp angle (45°) to match the joint width.
  4. Apply the sealant with a mechanical or pneumatic gun.
  5. Finish the joint within the working time stated in the technical data.
  6. Smooth joints with a jointing tool, spatula or a moistened finger (water reduces adhesion).
  7. Remove masking tape before a skin forms.
  8. Leave the joint to cure fully.
  9. Clean uncured sealant with water or soapy water; once cured, remove mechanically. Do not use organic solvents on skin.
